Fedora - Brut Natur

Traditional Method, Vintage 2017

Grape varieties

Rebula (Ribolla Gialla), Pinot Blanc.

Fedora Brut Natur is a vintage sparkling wine crafted using the traditional method (méthode champenoise), made from Rebula and Pinot Blanc. The wine spent 6 years aging on the lees, which contributes to its remarkable complexity, fine texture, and refined elegance. With zero dosage, this Brut Natur reveals the raw expression of the Vipava Hills terroir. Bright golden in color with a persistent stream of fine bubbles. On the palate, it is dry, mineral, and vibrant, with a crisp acidity and long, saline finish.

Aromas

The bouquet is mature and layered, featuring aromas of citrus peel, green apple, toasted bread crust, dried herbs, and a touch of almond.

Cultivation:

Organic, partly biodynamic

Vinification:

traditional method (secondary fermentation in bottle), no added sugar (zero dosage)

Aging:

6 years on lees

Disgorgement:

October 2024
