Pinela is an indigenous variety that can only rarely be tasted. It grows exclusively in the upper Vipava Valley in very limited quantities and was first mentioned as early as 1324. Straw-yellow in color with subtle greenish hues. It has a unique, recognizable, and delicate bouquet with floral and fruity notes. The aroma is youthful and vibrant, marked by scents of apple, melon, kiwi, and pineapple. The palate is full-bodied, very pleasant, and harmonious.
Due to the long one-year maceration, Pinela 365 develops a distinct aromatic profile, intense earthy, hay, balsamic and honey notes.

With wine, we enjoy, reflect, celebrate, and remember. The history that has shaped our family and our land is woven into Fedoraâs stories. True, condensed, or imagined? You decide. Each wine tells its own.
A winemaker with a very bad memory went to a big city by the sea, where he had everything he knew about grapes, the moon and the fertility of the soil tattoed on his back. As time passed by, he eventually got married, out of love of course â but his love was only for the grapevine. He cherished the evenings in which his wife read to him from his scarred back, again and again. But his fate was to be written in different words. One day, when he was returning from another hard working day in the vineyard, a merchant crossed his way. This merchant sold our winemaker a small mirror which he said would help him read from his back. This meant he didnât have to provide for another hungry mouth, so he promptly threw his wife out of his house and out of his life. From that day on, he never looked at another woman. People say you can still see him on a hot sunny day, working in his vineyard dressed only in trousers, boots and a hat, filled with bursting love for his grapevine. Even from afar, you can get blinded by his pocket mirror, which reflects his unmatched passion. We are proud our wine Pinela heralds his ineffaceable sign.
