Rebula is an ancient white grape variety indigenous to the northern Adriatic region, particularly the Vipava Valley and the Goriška Brda in Slovenia. Known for its high natural acidity and subtle minerality, it is especially well-suited for skin-contact (orange) winemaking. Ribolla produces wines that are fresh, structured, and expressive, often with floral, herbal, and stone fruit notes.
Fedora Rebula is medium-deep golden yellow in color. The wine is dry, with pronounced freshness, a slight tannic grip, and a supple, full-bodied character. It is a beautifully macerated Ribolla with a clear focusâopen and inviting.
The bouquet is complex and gently balsamic, with aromas of meadow flowers, dry grass, and spices. The aroma is refined and ripe.

With wine, we enjoy, reflect, celebrate, and remember. The history that has shaped our family and our land is woven into Fedoraâs stories. True, condensed, or imagined? You decide. Each wine tells its own.
A young man full of high hopes went to Trieste, where he sold his first barrels of wine. He put a nice heap of money, which he intended to use for dowry, under his hat. While heading back, he looked upon new life which sprouted towards the sun â at last spring had arrived!
Â
When he returned to his village, he noticed the first sparks of the annual bonfire which illuminated the villagersâ faces brightly and mimicked the moonlight itself. But the man wasnât bothered. Determined to ask for the mayorâs daughterâs hand in marriage, he first walked up to her father. Because he was a respectful young lad, the groom-to-be raised his hat and the wind blew his hard-earned money into the raging fire. But his would-be-bride, blinded by the riches fyling through the air, followed them straight into the flames. The horrified villagers could do nothing but witness how the girl promised eternal loyalty to the flaming beast. The groom stood as if frozen; his heart stopped and the spark in his eyes was gone. But his fable lives on in our Rebula.
Fedora.
